We are a group of dedicated gardeners on the Northern Tablelands of NSW. Our members share a wealth of knowledge and practical experience with respect to creating beautiful gardens using Australian native plants.
Through our parent organisation, the Australian Plants Society NSW , we actively participate in the Australian Native Plants Society (Australia) (ASGAP) network. If you want to create a native garden in the Armidale area, you will find everything you need here to get started!
The Northern Tablelands is the narrow highlands area of the New England region, stretching from the Moonbi Range at Tamworth to the Queensland border. This region includes substantial areas 800m above sea-level, with a cold climate, distinctive vegetation and characteristic granitic, basaltic, sedimentary and metamorphic landscapes.
Our native vegetation is home to many endemic plants like Telopea aspera, Eucalyptus nicholi , Banskia integrifolia var compar, and Acacia ingramii. See our plant Gallery for more photos.
